Houshang Golshiri Archive – Stanford University

This project was created for a special conference hosted by Stanford University in January 2016 to commemorate the donation of the Houshang Golshiri archive to Stanford’s Green Library. Golshiri, a renowned Iranian writer and literary figure, is celebrated for his profound influence on modern Persian literature and his advocacy for freedom of expression.

The event brought together scholars, readers, and artists to reflect on Golshiri’s legacy, and it received coverage from major outlets including BBC Persian and other international media.

I was responsible for the visual identity of the event, designing materials such as the event poster, program, digital assets, and supporting graphics that reflected the depth, complexity, and literary elegance of Golshiri’s work. The design drew inspiration from Persian typography and literary symbolism, aiming to honor both the writer’s legacy and the academic importance of the archive.
